Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said that the harshest punishment given to the culprits of the Delhi blasts will send a message to the world that no one should dare to think of such an attack again. Shah addressed the inauguration program of Motibhai R Chaudhary Sagar Sainik School and Sagar Organic Plant in Boriyavi village of Mehsana district of Gujarat through video link.
‘The culprits will be brought to justice’
Shah said, those who have committed this dastardly act and those who are behind it will be brought to justice and given the strictest punishment. The Government of India and the Home Ministry are fully committed to this. He also expressed deep condolences to the families of those killed in the blast.

The Home Minister said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve that all those responsible for this terrorist attack will be given strict punishment will definitely be fulfilled. He further said, the punishment given to the culprits of Delhi terror attack will send a message to the world that no one in our country should dare to even think of such an attack. Shah said that India’s fight against terrorism in the last 11 years under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi has been accepted by the entire world and Modi is playing a leading role in this global struggle.
13 people died in the explosion
According to police sources, a white Hyundai I-20 car exploded near the Red Fort on Monday evening, killing 13 people and injuring 20 others. In the initial investigation, another suspicious vehicle was detected. The investigation teams had succeeded in recovering this second vehicle, a red Ford EcoSport, from Faridabad district. However, now a third car, suspected to be a Maruti Brezza, is still missing.

Sources say that the missing third car may have been used by the accused for reconnaissance or to flee after the incident. Due to this apprehension, Delhi Police and other security agencies are carrying out intensive search operations in Delhi-NCR and surrounding states to trace this Maruti Brezza. After this revelation, security arrangements have been tightened in Delhi and high alert continues.
