Flights Services Disrupted: A major system outage occurred at airports around the world on Wednesday morning, disrupting check-in services and delaying flights. This problem related to Microsoft Windows has affected many IT services including the check-in process of many airports. Due to this, air passengers faced difficulties in taking their flights and their travel schedules got disturbed.
Problems faced at Varanasi airport – passengers informed
A message appeared at Varanasi airport in India informing passengers that Microsoft Windows has reported a major disruption in its services across the world. IT services/check-in systems at airports have been affected due to this. Due to this disruption, airlines had to adopt manual check-in and boarding process due to which flights were delayed at many airports. The message issued at Varanasi Airport said that flights of at least four airlines Indigo, SpiceJet, Akasa Air and Air India Express have been affected.
Chaos at Hyderabad airport
This disturbance was probably the reason for the chaos at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
