Users were reporting this problem in Cloudflare’s service on social media platform X. Most of the users were getting the message ‘500 Internal Server Error’ or ‘Bad Gateway’. However, now this problem has gone away. The company has issued an official statement regarding this.
Canva, Downdetector, Spotify, ChatGPT and Donald Trump’s TruthSocial were also affected due to the problem in Cloudflare’s service. Users had expressed their displeasure regarding this on social media platforms. Last month also, on November 18, many websites and apps around the world were affected due to a problem in Cloudflare’s service. However, the company had then clarified that this was not due to a cyber attack. This problem in Cloudflare’s service was caused by changes in the database system permissions and bot management system.
Problem due to schedule maintenance
Cloudflare has website It has been informed through that scheduled maintenance is going on, necessary update regarding this will be issued soon. Because of this, traffic from websites and apps may be re-routed from this location, which may increase latency. This scheduled maintenance of Cloudflare was scheduled for December 5 i.e. today between 2:30 pm and 6:30 pm. As soon as the scheduled maintenance started, users were facing problems in accessing websites and services, which has now been fixed.
Cloudflare said that due to this scheduled maintenance, end users in this region may be affected. The company has shared information about every location on its website. Wherever the server has been re-routed, users were facing this problem. However, now the company’s service has been made operational in many regions.
