This time the story of actor Shivaji Satam in the success story. He appears in the role of ACP Pradumna in the famous TV show CID.

Something is wrong with mercy… On hearing this dialogue, a picture of a person is printed on the hearts and minds. A person whom people really started to understand the officer of CID. We are talking about Shivaji Satam. Although he has worked in dozens of Hindi and Marathi films, but his real identity is from CID’s ACP Praduman role.

Shivaji Satam comes from Maharashtra. The father used to work in the mill. There was a chawl, he had his childhood with 15 people.

There was a Ganpati festival around the house every year. Someone pushed Shivaji on the stage one day. From there, for the first time, he realized that he could also act.

Shivaji turned to the Marathi theater. There was only 20 to 30 rupees of a show. However, due to working in the theater, he got a job in the bank.

Born on 21 April 1950, Shivaji Satam’s success story, his words ..

Father was a laborer in the mill I was born in Bhaiyakhala, Mumbai. Most of the mills and working classes lived in the mill. Dad also used to work in a textile mill. The entire family of 14-15 people lived in a chawl. We lived on the top floor of the four -storey chawl. There were two rooms with 10*10 areas. Just like there is another room above one room in the chawl, I was the same.

Father got overtime and enrolled in English school The parents fought hard to provide me good education. Especially Dad did a lot. He himself was a labor, but taught me in English school. Not only this, the boarding school was also sent to study. Dad knew that he would not be able to afford all this in a labor salary. He himself learned English and taught children by overtime in a school.

Dad laid great emphasis on teaching us English. They knew that the importance of this language is going to increase in the coming times. Every Sunday, he would ask for English newspapers and ask all the children to make readings loudly.

For the first time, he came to the limelight after performing at Ganpati festival Ganpati festival was celebrated every year in our area with great pomp. There were plays there every night. I used to go to watch the drama with great fervor. One day friends forcefully pushed me on the stage.

When performed for the first time, it was also fun. For the first time, a flame was burnt inside with acting. One day at the Ganpati festival, the famous Marathi theater artist Bal Dhuri ji was called as Chief Guest. Bal Dhuri ji saw my work. they liked.

Another artist took leave, then he got a role Bal Dhuri ji needed an actor for a character in his play. The current actor went on leave for some reason. Then he offered me to work in play. At first it felt that all this belonged to me. Later, friends joined the show by putting pressure. The entire show was houseful.

Seeing so many people in front, my feet started trembling. As soon as he completed his shot. Now if it starts, he did not take the name of the stay.

Got a job in bank only because of theater I got a job in Central Bank of India because of working in theater. Actually, the Maharashtra government had a policy at that time. Every year he used to choose four people from Marathi theater and gave them government jobs. However, it was not that anyone should be picked up and given a government job. Of the hundreds of artists, only those four people were selected, who have the ability.

The theater artist used to get 20 to 30 rupees of each show. The government knew that nothing was going to happen with so much money. For this reason, he run this policy, so that at least some people get benefits.

500 rupees for the first Hindi film While working in the theater, I started getting Marathi films offers. This was followed by the first Hindi film ‘Pestonji’ in 1988. Anupam Kher, Naseeruddin Shah and Shabana Azmi ji had important roles in this film. I got this film through Vijaya Mehta. Vijaya Mehta was the screenplay writer of the film.

At that time I used to work in a bank. Vijaya Mehta asked if you can take time and come to the shoot for some time? I agreed. In the film, I played a small role of the doctor. I got 500 rupees for this.

On seeing them, the producer made a intention to make CID It is a matter of 1985. I first met BP Singh (producer of CID). At that time he was making a documentary. We met through a common friend. He wanted to make a crime show.

We had a conversation. He made an intention to make CID with me. In 1992, we released its pilot episode (first trial episode). However, it took a long time of 6 years to start a full flashed show. Actually, I used to do theater, I had a shortage of dates.

BP Singh meanwhile, one day reached the theater to watch my show. He told my producer Mahesh Manjrekar to give it to Shivaji. Mahesh refused.

Mahesh and BP Singh used to have a mild mockery. Over time, my shows gradually decreased. With this, the routes for CID opened. I started working on the show. Then my entire focus took place on this show. The show started completely in 1998 and since then we have not looked back.

Lata ji was also unhappy when CID was closed Let me tell you that Lata Mangeshkar ji was also very sad when the CID of air went off. He loved our show very much. She knew every person working in CID from both face and name. She used to call us often on food.

It was just a few days ago. Amid the running show, I got a call from Asha Bhosle ji. He asked how the show was going? We had a conversation between us for 10 minutes. When he heard voices in the background, he understood that the shooting was going on. Then he kept the phone. Due to the love of these people, the show lasted so many years and now started again.

CID’s name world record, shoots in single tech In 2006, the CID episode set a world record. The entire team shot an 111 -minute episode in a single tech. For this, he had to rehearsal for 6 days. It is mentioned in the Guinness and Limca Book of World Records.

Second season getting good TRP The second season of CID is being telecast on Sony TV from 21 December 2024. Season-1 entertained the audience 21 years. Now the second season has also started making a record of viewership. The TRP of CID season-2 is the highest among the scripted shows that come on Sony TV.

Wife died at a young age Shivaji said at the end of the interview, ‘I have the same sorrow in my life. I climbed the stairs of success, but my wife is not in this world to see it. She left the world due to cancer at a very young age. I wish she could see my success. ‘
