The Cabinet Committee (CCS) meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s residence on Wednesday to retaliate for the terrorist attack. Many major decisions have been taken in this meeting. Foreign Secretary Vikram Egypt, while addressing a press conference, informed this. Egyptian said that the CCS meeting was chaired by the Prime Minister this evening.
The Foreign Secretary further stated that the CCS was given detailed information about the terrorist attack on Tuesday in Pahalgam, killing 25 Indians and one Nepali citizens. Many other people were injured. The CCS strongly condemned the attack and expressed its deep condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured to get well soon.

CCS meeting lasted for two and a half hours
After the terrorist attack on tourists in Pahalgam, a meeting of the Cabinet Committee (CCS) of security was held at the Prime Minister’s residence this evening. Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over this meeting. The meeting also attended the meeting and several top officials including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval.
