India’s Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan held bilateral meetings on Sunday from the defense heads of Germany and Singapore. The purpose of these meetings was to strengthen India’s defense cooperation and pursue military partnership.

General Chauhan first met the Chief of Defense General of Germany, Carston Breaur. The two countries had talks on deepening defense relations and increasing military cooperation. During this time there was a special discussion about ‘Operation Sindoor’, which holds strategic significance for both countries.

Meeting Germany’s Defense Head
Integrated Defense Staff Headquarters posted on the social media platform X and said that there was a significant discussion between India’s Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan and German defensed chief General Carrston Breair on strengthening the defensive cooperation.
Talks on Hind-Pacific Region
After this, General Chauhan also held bilateral conversations with Singapore Chief of Defense Force Vice Admiral Aaron Beng. The dialogue emphasized the strengthening of security, military cooperation and interpreting (mutual military coordination) of the Indo-Pacific region. Operation Sindoor was the main subject of discussion here too. Along with this, the two countries resolved to repeat their commitment to stable, safe and rules-based Hind-Pacific region and deepen strategic partnership.

CDS Chauhan also took part in Chiefs of Defense Round Table
On the same day, General Chauhan also participated in the Chiefs of Defense Round Table organized under IISS Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore. It was attended by defense heads of several countries including Australia, France, Japan, America, UK, Germany, Indonesia and discussed global security challenges, emerging threats and strategic decisions. The meeting emphasized on increasing cooperation in the defense sector, sharing experiences and maintaining regional stability.
