In Canada, Mark Carney will take oath of Prime Minister today i.e. on Friday. He will be the 24th Prime Minister of Canada. His swearing -in will be held at 8:30 pm Indian time at Ballroom in the Ridue Hall in the capital Ottawa.
Carney along with his cabinet members will also take oath on Friday. Carney won the election of Liberal Party leader on 9 February. Carney received 85.9% votes. Mark Carney will take power in place of Canadian current Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Today, Trudeau will go to the Governor General and officially resign. This will be followed by swearing in.
