The swearing in of Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney will be held tomorrow i.e. Friday 14 March. He will take oath as the 24th Prime Minister of Canada. The swearing -in will be held at 8:30 pm Indian time at Ballroom in the Redew Hall in the capital Ottawa.
Apart from Carney, his cabinet members will also take oath on Friday. He won the election of Liberal Party leader on 9 February. Carney received 85.9% votes. Mark Carney will take power in place of Canadian current Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
After winning the election of the party leader, Carney met Prime Minister Trudeau. There was a discussion between the two to hand over power. Trudeau announced his resignation as Prime Minister in January. On Friday, the Trudeau will go to the Governor General and officially resign.
Justin Trudeau gave his Farewell Speech as the Prime Minister of Canada at the Liberal Party Convention on 10 February. After this, he picked up the chair and went out of Parliament.

Mark Carney is an Economist and former central banker. Carney was elected Governor of Bank of Canada in 2008. In 2013, the Bank of England proposed to become a governor due to the steps he took to take Canada out of the recession.
In the 300 -year history of Bank of England, he was the first non -British citizen who got this responsibility. He remained associated with it till 2020. The decisions during the Breguit made him famous in Britain.
Trump is opposed to Carney, but avoid making statements

However, it cannot be said how long the Prime Minister will remain. Actually, the Liberal Party does not have a majority in Parliament. Carney wants to improve India-Canada relations
Carney wants to eliminate the tension in India and Canada. They have been advocate for good relations with India. He recently said that if he becomes the Prime Minister of Canada, he will restore business relations with India.
