BSNL’s new plan

BSNL has announced this new Freedom offer with its official X handle. The government telecom company said that users will get True Digital Freedom for just 1 rupee. This plan comes with a validity of 30 days. In a recharge of 1 rupee, users get the benefit of Daily 2GB high speed data and unlimited calling across India as well as national roaming. Also, users will also get the benefit of daily 100 free SMS in this plan.

This offer of BSNL is for all telecom circles in the country between August 1 and August 31. Users can take advantage of this offer by purchasing a new SIM card of BSNL for Rs 1. The company has confirmed in its social media posts that this offer is only for new users of BSNL. Old users will get the benefit of this offer for 1 rupee.

Preparation to increase ARPU

According to TRAI’s recent report, millions of users of BSNL and VI have switched the network in the last few months. The government telecom company has made this offer in view of continuous decline in the number of users. The government is trying to increase the ARPU of BSNL. For this, a review meeting will now be held every month. The telecom operator has been targeted to increase its average revenue by 50 percent per user. Also, it has been instructed not to make plans expensive to increase ARPU.
