BSNL introduced its cheap plan with 5G service with sim know the benefits

BSNL Q-5g: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has officially launched its new Quantum 5G service in Hyderabad, which has been named Q-5G. This service has emerged directly as a major challenge for private telecom companies. The company is soon going to do soft launch of this service in cities like Bengaluru, Pune, Visakhapatnam, Chandigarh and Gwalior.

Under this service, users will get high-speed internet without any SIM card or wiring. BSNL has initially launched two plans with 100Mbps for Rs 999 and 300Mbps speed plan for Rs 1,499. The special thing is that it will not require any fiber line or calling facility.

What is BSNL’s Q-5G FWA service?

This Quantum 5G service of BSNL is especially prepared for India’s Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, where the reach of optical fiber is still very limited. The purpose of this service is to connect people living in those areas, small businesses and offices with superfast internet.

The Q-5G technology has been fully developed in India and its equipment is also indigenous. This service will be provided through Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) technology so that users will get the facility of internet without any wire or landline.

How to get 5G internet without sim and wire?

This service of BSNL will only get internet data, not calling. This is similar to services like Airtel Xstream Fiber and Jio Airfiber, but its specialty is that it neither needs a SIM card nor wiring. For this, the Customer Premies Equipment (CPE) will be installed on the roof of your house which will catch the signal from the surrounding BSNL 5G tower and take it to the router of your house.

Will pressure on private telecom companies?

BSNL’s move has made private telecom companies sleep in the market. On the one hand, this service is providing 5G internet at affordable rates, on the other hand its equipment is made completely in the country, which also reduces national security risk. This new initiative of BSNL will not only promote 5G internet access to the country but can also force the existing telecom players to provide better services. In such a situation, this match can prove to be a profitable deal for consumers.
