Soni came to vote with her newborn baby
It was told that Soni Kumari, 25-year-old wife of Sunil Manjhi, resident of Kuri Sarai village of Belaganj assembly constituency, had given birth to a child in the government hospital of Belaganj last night, but with the passion to fulfill her democratic rights, she reached the polling booth in the morning in an ambulance with her newborn baby and voted.

The polling personnel and the people present there appreciated the courage and awareness of the woman. Everyone said that this scene is the most inspiring example of the beauty of democracy and civic responsibility. This story of a woman voter in Belaganj has now become a topic of discussion among the people. Which shows that the real celebration of democracy comes alive only with public participation.

Voting was held considering the future of the child.
Mother Soni Kumari told that she gave birth to a child at Belaganj Community Health Center at 7 pm on Monday evening. When the morning came, she told the hospital staff about her wish to vote. She said that she had to elect a government for development, so she came to vote. She voted keeping the future of her child in mind.
Health worker Ajit Kumar told that the woman has been brought to Kurisarai polling station. The woman has been brought to vote. The woman told the hospital staff that she had to go to vote, after which she was brought back to the hospital.
