The special intensive revision (SIR) campaign of the voter list is going on before the assembly elections in Bihar. For this, only ten days are left for the last date to submit the filled enrollment form (EF). Of the total 7,89,69,844 voters in the state, forms of 6,81,67,861 (86.32 per cent) have been submitted so far. Considering the deceased, permanently moved and more than one place registered voters, forms have been collected up to 90.84% of about 7.9 crore voters under this campaign. Now only 9.16 percent of the voters can submit their filled forms before the last date of July 25. The Election Commission gave this information on Tuesday.

The elected Via Yoga informed that 86.32% enrollment forms have been collected so far under the SIR campaign in Bihar. There are now 10 days left in the last date. Voters who have not yet filled the form will be contacted personally. Around one lakh BLOs are going to start a third round of travel to the house, so that nomination forms filled with remaining voters can be taken. The BLO will again go to the houses where people were not present in the first round.

The Commission said that out of a total of 7,89,69,844 voters of Bihar, forms of 6,81,67,861 i.e. 86.32% have been submitted so far. Now only 9.16% of the voters whose forms are yet to be submitted and its last date is 25 July.
Special camps have been set up in 5,683 wards of all 261 urban bodies in the state and advertisements have been issued in newspapers, so that the remaining voters can fill their forms on time and their names can be included in the preliminary voter list to be published on August 1, 2025. BLOs are encouraging these voters to ECINET app from their mobile phone or https://voters.eci.gov.in Fill the online form (according to para 3 (d) of SIR guidelines).

Voters can not only fill their nominations online through ECINET, but can also find their names in the 2003 voter list (where applied). Voters can also contact their BLO and other election officials using the ECINENE app. By 6 pm today, more than 6.20 crore enrollment forms have been uploaded on the ECINET platform. The BLO is also getting 1.5 lakh BLA support, which have been appointed by all political parties. Each BLA can certify and submit nomination forms up to 50 per day. To ensure that no qualified urban voter is released from the voter list, special camps are being set up in all 5,683 wards.
