The ground for industrial revolution is now being prepared in Bihar. The state industries department has started work on two Special Economic Zones (SEZs) approved by the Central Government. This SEZ is to be ready in Kumarbagh of West Champaran and Navanagar of Buxar. Both the SEZs will be developed in approximately 125 acres each. Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority has the land on which it will be developed.
What is SEZ, who will get the benefit – also know this
Special Economic Zone is an area developed where various types of industrial units are given space along with basic facilities. Meaning, it will not only be easy to establish industries in this area, but the government system will also provide all kinds of basic facilities and security. The SEZs to be built in Bihar will provide space for 25-30 industrial units. That is, the entrepreneurs setting up so many industries will get the opportunity to produce, while new job opportunities will come in this enterprise sector. Just like when NTPC started work during the flood, a huge population from the surrounding areas got employment, in the same way here too, jobs will be guaranteed in the future.
What did the Industry Minister say on the Rs 225 crore scheme?
Industry Minister Dilip Jaiswal said that the government is serious about SEZ, Rs 225 crore will be spent on it. A new action plan for development is being prepared through SEZ. We are working on the target of creating one crore jobs and employment. Industry is going to be the biggest source of this.
Now industry talks will be held every Thursday
Here, Bihar government has taken a big step to provide this facility to investors. Now investors will be able to meet the Chief Secretary without any appointment. Industry talks will be held every Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit. This initiative has been taken to provide direct solutions to the problems of investors by connecting them directly with high level officials.
