According to the trends of Bihar elections, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) seems to be getting a big victory. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction) leader Sanjay Raut said on Friday that the election results are not shocking. He claimed that the Election Commission and BJP together have completed their ‘national agenda’. Raut also said that these Bihar results are similar to the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections, where the ruling Grand Alliance (BJP, Shiv Sena and NCP) got a big victory.
The BJP-led NDA seems far ahead of majority in Bihar. In the initial trends, NDA was maintaining a strong lead in more than 180 seats out of 243 seats. Along with this, it was also believed that BJP could achieve its highest number of seats till date. Raut said on Twitter that ‘Maharashtra pattern’ is clearly visible in the results of Bihar. He was referring to the 2024 Maharashtra elections, in which the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) had to face defeat.

He wrote, there is no need to be surprised at the results of Bihar assembly elections. The way the Election Commission and BJP are running the national agenda by joining hands, there was no hope of a different result. This is exactly the pattern like Maharashtra. Raut further alleged that the alliance which was hoping to come to power has been ‘pushed down to below 50 seats’.
