The remaining amount was given by Ashok Saw on Gangapath the next day after the incident occurred. He met Ashok Saw at a wedding ceremony in Biharsharif about one and a half years ago. Since then, he was doing small things for them. Patna SSP said that about one and a half months ago, a conspiracy was hatched by Ashok Saw to kill Gopal Khemka. Ashok Saw asked to arrange a shooter and weapon to kill Gopal Khemka. After this Umesh Yadav contacted Shoot Vikas alias Raja. Vikas asked for a betel nut of four lakhs. But, later Umesh himself thought of shooting Gopal Khemka. After this, Ashok Saw provided Umesh’s 9mm weapons, two magazines 18 bullets. Ashok Saw told why murdered
Patna police said that for about 10 days, criminals discovered Gopal Khemka’s day. In this, the criminals found that daily at eight o’clock in the evening, they used to go to Bankipur club and come back home at around 11:30 pm. While leaving the club, he used to take his friend Sudesh Sarin at Bakdganj turn and go to his house. When he reached Bankipur Club at around 11:30 pm on July 4, when he saw Gopal Khemka’s car, these people immediately moved towards his residence and started waiting for Gopal Khemka to come. After some time, Gopal Khemka drove her car himself as soon as Umesh shot and killed him as soon as he stopped at his apartment gate. From there he went home and hid the weapon in the upper room. The next day, Ashok Saw gave the remaining amount of betel nut to Umesh about three and a half lakh rupees. After this, Udayagiri apartment was searched on the trail of Umesh Yadav, then six and a half lakh rupees and a pistol, 17 live cartridges, a lot of land papers, mobiles and other similar were recovered from a flat.
