Four people were crushed by uncontrolled Scorpio on the road from Mahavir Chowk to Ram Ganj under Sahadei police station area of Vaishali district. One person died in the incident, while three were seriously injured. The deceased has been identified as Surendra Paswan, a resident of Tata Chakradharpur in the state of Jharkhand. The people angry with the incident set the car on fire.
In connection with the incident, local people said that Surendra Paswan had come to his in -laws’ house. He went to bring some goods from the shop. Meanwhile, an uncontrolled Scorpio crushed four people standing on the road. As soon as the incident took place, the people around ran there and admitted the injured to PSC for immediate treatment. The condition of the four was critical, so the doctor referred two persons to Sadar Hospital for better treatment after their first aid. He was brought to Sadar Hospital in a hurry, where the doctor declared Surendra Paswan dead. Samarjeet Kumar is being treated at Sadar Hospital. The condition of the injured is worrying.
After the incident, the locals angrily chased the driver of the Scorpio and beat him fiercely. After this, angry people set fire to Scorpio. Scorpio started burning with smoke. Local people informed the police about the incident, even after the police did not reach the spot immediately. People then called Dial 112, after which the police of Dial 112 reached the spot, then handed over the Scorpio driver to the police. In connection with the incident, Sahadei police station president Sarita Kumari said that a road accident has taken place, in which many people were injured. He has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. Two people have been sent to Hajipur member hospital. One person has died during treatment.
