Bihar Elections: Is your name in the voter list or not? How to check

The first phase of the voter list intensive revision (SIR) in Bihar has been completed. The draft voter list for this will be released on 1 August. There is a possibility of removing the names of more than 65 lakh voters in this voter revision process conducted by the Election Commission before the assembly elections. After the draft is ready, the Election Commission will officially publish the voter list.

If you also want to know whether your name is in the voter list or not, then it is quite easy. You can also check the voter list through the Election Commission website as well as the Election Commission app.

Check like this from the website

To check your name in the voter list through the website, you must have your voter ID card number or EPIC number.

• Election Commission website https://voters.eci.gov.in/home/enumformtrak# Go to
• Select your state here and enter your EPIC number.
• After this, enter the CaptCA code and go to the submit button.
• In this way you will be able to check whether your name is in the voter list or not.

Even if you do not have an EPIC number, you can check your name in the voter list. You have to enter some information for this.

• Election Commission website https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/ Go to
• Here you have to go to the option with search by details.
• Then choose your kingdom and language.
• After this, enter your relatives, such as father or husband’s name.
• Then enter your date, age, gender, district, assembly constituency etc.
• After this, after entering the captcha code, press the search button.
• In this way you can check your name in the voter list.

On the Election Commission website, you can also check your name in the voter list through your mobile number. For this, you have to click on the option with Search in Electrol Roll. Then you have to choose an option with search by mobile. After this, details of state, language etc. will have to be filled. After this, you can check your name in the voter list by entering the mobile number and OTP.

How to check by app

For this, you have to download the Voter Helpline App from the Election Commission website, Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

After downloading the app, install it and you can check your name in the voter list using your EPIC number or mobile number. Not only this, here too, you will be able to check your name in the list by entering the details of your state, district, constituency etc.
