What is written on Domicile in the cabinet decision?
In the first cabinet meeting of August, on Tuesday, the National Democratic Alliance government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar agreed on 36 decisions. It was an important point to approve the proposal of domication policy for teacher recruitment. It is written in this proposal- “After the formation of Bihar State School Teacher (Appointment, Transfer, Disciplinary Action and Service Service) (Amendment) Rules, 2025, educational qualifying candidates from Bihar state will be appointed in large numbers to the post of school teacher.” It is clear that only those studying in Bihar will get priority in the teacher recruitment examination. That is, for the reservation like reservation in the name of Domicile, the certificate of the educational unit of Bihar will be valid.
Chief Minister announced last week, now proposal passes
Last week, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced on social media that the Education Department has directed to make necessary amendments in the relevant rules to give priority to the residents of Bihar in the restoration of teachers. It was said to implement it from the fourth phase (TRE-4) of the Teacher Recruitment Examination. CM wrote that TRE-4 in the year 2025 and TRE-5 in the year 2026 will be organized.
