BCCI has announced Team India for the five-match T20 series against South Africa. Vice-captain Shubhman Gill has returned to the team. He is not part of the ODI series against South Africa due to a neck injury. The captain of the team is Suryakumar Yadav. The five-match T20 series between India and South Africa will be played from December 9 to December 19.
BCCI has announced a 15-member Team India for the five-match T20 series starting from December 9. The selectors have chosen the same team which played the 2025 Asia Cup. There are four spinners in the form of Varun Chakraborty, Washington Sundar, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav. Apart from this, there are three fast bowlers in the 15-member team in the form of Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana. Captain Suryakumak Yadav, vice-captain Shubhman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, Tilak Verma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dubey, Jitesh Sharma and Sanju Samson are present in the batting department. There are two wicketkeepers in the form of Jitesh and Samson.

Schedule of India-South Africa T20 series
The first match of the five-match T20 series between India and South Africa will be played in Cuttack on 9 December. After this, the second T20 match will be played on 11 December in New Chandigarh and the third T20 match will be played on 14 December in Dharamshala. Then the fourth T20 match will be held on 17 December in Lucknow and the final and fifth T20 match will be held on 19 December in Ahmedabad.
