The Kotwali Khekra police started investigating the case. With the help of the technical team, the accused was identified as Khekra, a resident of Junaid aka Junid. The police raided and detained him. During interrogation, the accused admitted that he had posted a picture of the Chief Minister by creating Instagram ID.
The police registered a case against the accused in various sections including the IT Act. Police Media Cell shared information about this action on X. Police officials clarified that strict action will be taken against those making such indecent and objectionable posts on social media.
