Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has become the highest run-scorer in T20 international cricket, leaving behind India’s Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Babar achieved this feat by scoring 11 runs on 18 balls in the second T20 match against South Africa in Lahore on Friday night.
Babar has so far scored 4234 runs in 123 matches at an average of 39.57, but his strike rate and number of sixes are less compared to other players included in the list of highest run-scoring batsmen. Babar’s strike rate is 128.77 and he has hit 73 sixes. In this matter, Rohit, Kohli, Jos Buttler and Paul Sterling are ahead of him.
