Australia Attack: Caesar Barraza Fired Bullets At Terrorists From 40 Meters Away, Set An Example Of Bravery

15 people lost their lives in the terrorist attack on Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia. The name of the police officer who played an important role in stopping this incident has now come to light. According to media reports, the officer who killed the attacker is Detective Senior Constable Cesar Baraja.

Caesar was on duty in plain clothes

Cesar Baraja has been in police service for the last 16 years. He is posted in the Bondi area and was on duty in plain clothes. A video of the incident surfaced, in which he was seen standing near a tree and firing towards the footbridge about 40 meters away. In this action, terrorist Sajid Akram was killed, while his son Navid Akram was seriously injured. It is reported that Sajid and Navid had fired indiscriminately with high-powered weapons from a height during the Hanukkah program. 15 people died and many were injured in this attack.

Have worked in reality TV shows

Cesar Baraja is known by his colleagues as Ces. He also appeared in The Recruits, a reality TV show in the 2000s. In that show he said that he wanted to become a police because he hates crime. He had told how difficult the training to become a police is and for this he used to work hard every day. However, the New South Wales Police Commissioner has said that the investigation is still going on and it is being officially decided which officer’s bullet killed the terrorist. Nevertheless, he wholeheartedly praised the bravery of all the policemen.

Two young police officers seriously injured

In this attack, two young police officers have also been seriously injured by bullets and they are currently admitted in the ICU of the hospital. The first officer is 22-year-old Probationary Constable Jack Hibbert, who joined the force just four months ago. He was shot in the face and eye, due to which he has lost the vision in one eye. The family said that Jack continued to help people despite being injured.

Salute to the bravery of the soldiers

The other injured officer is Constable Scott Dyson, who was seriously shot in the shoulder. His condition was very critical, but now he is said to be stable. Scott has also been a good sportsman and his partner also works in the police. He is going to become a father soon. Police officials and the state government have saluted the bravery of both the soldiers. It is said that these officers did not run away, but moved forward in the direction of the bullets. Due to his courage many people’s lives were saved.
