India’s young table-tennis player Divyanshi Bhowmik has won the Gold Medal of the Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship. 14-year-old Divyanshi was playing in the under-15 category of this championship. She created history by winning the Under-15 girl’s singles title. This golden success of Divyanshi is also special because after 36 years an Indian player has won this title. In the cold medal match, Divyanshi defeated China’s Zhu Chhihi 4-2.
