Both teams were last collided in 2024 World Cup in T20
The last match between India and Pakistan in the T20 format was in the 2024 T20 World Cup. The match between the two teams was played in New York where the Indian team won by six runs. However, there is a lot of difference between the 2024 T20 World Cup and the team now and the India-Pakistan teams have also changed. While India had come to play under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma last time, Pakistan’s command was in the hands of Babar Azam. Rohit has now retired from T20 International, while Babur has not got a place in the team for the Asia Cup. That is, it is certain that the teams of India and Pakistan will now enter this match under the leadership of the new captain. India’s command is in the hands of Suryakumar Yadav, while Pakistan is captaining Salman Ali Aga. Both teams have won their first matches in the group stage.
