He was admitted to RLM Hospital, where he was undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors. However, despite all efforts, he died on Tuesday.

Satyapal Malik had held the post of Governor in states like Meghalaya, Goa, Bihar and Jammu and Kashmir. Malik worked as the last full-time governor of Jammu and Kashmir.
