Become a new AKI team

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman’s report, Apple has formed an internal team to develop this search AI. This team is named AKI, which means answers, knowledge and information. As is clear by the name itself, this tool will work to share knowledge and information along with answering the questions of users.

Robbie Walker will head this AKI team of Apple. Walker has been a former Siri Executive and will report to Apple’s AI Chief John Gianandra. Apple had partnered with Openai to give AI experience to users before launching the iPhone 16 series. Due to this partnership, users integrated the chat GPT in Apple’s Voice Assistant Siri. Now it seems that Apple will try to give better experience to users by developing its own tool.

Responsibility for developing AI tool

Recently, Apple’s Senior Executive also commented that the company now needs a chatbot style AI. Now the company is preparing to expand AI under its strategy. Under this new strategy, the company can develop many tools like Genmoji, which will work to provide notifications, summer, writing decorations etc. to users. According to the report, the AKI team has been given the responsibility to conduct a new type of search experience to users. This tool looks like chatjiPT or Perplexity AI. In this, users can get AI Drivon Search Experience. According to a Bloomberg report, this tool is being tested in the iPhone 17 Pro series, so that real world expeditions can be done.
