Apple Captures 60 Percent of AI PC Market With its Mac Range, Windows AI PC Shipments Grew 12 Percent in Q2 of Current Year

American devices maker Apple has achieved 60 percent share in the market of personal computers (PC) with Artificial Intelligence (AI) features in the second quarter of the current year. International shipments of more than 88 lakh AI PCs have been made in the second quarter. Sales of these PCs are expected to increase in the second half of this year.

Market research firm Canalys Report It is reported that Mac computers with Apple’s silicon chipsets account for 60 percent of AI PC shipments. This is much higher than Windows AI computers. However, shipments of Windows AI PCs grew by nearly 127 percent on a quarter-on-quarter basis. Lenovo’s Yoga Slim and ThinkPad laptops have a share of six percent in this segment. Dell has achieved a market share of seven percent with its Inspiron, XPS and Latitude computers.

Apple’s iPhone 16 series may be launched soon. The basic model of this series, iPhone 16, may have a new design. Upgrades related to performance and charging speed can be found in its Pro models. The iPhone 15 series introduced last year received a good response from customers. Recently, tipster Instant Digital had said in a post on China’s messaging platform Weibo that higher capacity batteries can be provided in iPhone 16 Pro models. The iPhone 16 Pro of this series can have a battery of 3,577 mAh and the iPhone 16 Pro Max can have a battery of 4,441 mAh. However, Apple has not disclosed the battery capacity of the upcoming iPhone series.

Earlier, social media platform X user JSonny Dickson (@SonnyDickson) had leaked dummy units of iPhone 16. This smartphone is visible with five colors and a newly designed camera island. It can be made available in blue, green, pink, black and white colors. iPhone 16 may have a 6.1 inch OLED display. iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus may have A18 Bionic chip and iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max may have A18 Pro chip. Both the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max may support 40 W wired charging and 20 W wireless charging using MagSafe.
