He had recently sought a vow for the well -being of his son injured in a fire incident at a school in Singapore. Anna Konidella offered her hair as a symbol of her gratitude to the deity and thanked Lord Venkateswara.

A fire broke out in a summer camp in Singapore on April 8
Kalyan couple’s son Mark Shankar went to attend a summer camp in Singapore. Where the fire broke out on 8 April. Mark’s hands and feet were burnt in the accident and he was also suffering due to smoke. Thankfully, he survived the accident. Anna had asked for a vow to offer hair to the Tirumala temple for the safety of the injured son in the accident.

According to a press release issued by the Janasena Party, Anna, wife of Deputy Chief Minister Kalyan, offered her hair in ‘Padmavati Kalyan Katta’ keeping in mind the tradition of the temple. After which he also participated in religious rituals.

Hair offered to the deity when the son is healthy
The press release of the Janasena Party said that Anna Konidella had asked for a vow that if her son survives in the accident, she would offer her hair to the deity. Incidentally, now his son is healthy after being injured in the accident, due to which Anna has fulfilled his vow by shaving his hair.

Anna announced his faith in Lord Venkateswara
The press release stated that Anna Konidella is a Russian conservative Christian, so according to the rules of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), he announced his faith in Lord Venkateswara in the presence of the first temple officials and signed the declaration. He later traveled to the temple and participated in various rituals.
