A shocking case has come to light in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, where a woman escaped after getting the first installment of 40 thousand rupees under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The department stirred up after the incident. At present, the department issued notice against the woman and ordered an inquiry.
The whole matter is of Rabha village of Amethi development block. Kumari, who lives here, was married to Ram Sajeevan, a resident of the village in 2013. But Ram Sajeevan died in 2023 due to illness. After which the woman was given the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana under the widow scheme.
Recently, the first installment of the housing scheme was sent to the woman’s account by the department. But the woman escaped with her lover with her 3 children. Till date, no clue of the woman has been found.
After the absconding of Kumari, the lock has been hung at her house for several months. No person of the village has any information about him. According to the villagers, after the death of the husband, the woman had a relationship with a man, who used to come home constantly to meet her. Earlier, the woman’s lover has been caught and handed over to the police, but both did not agree.

There is a stir in the department after the woman escaped. The officials are constantly trying to find out the woman and her lover. But there is no clue. Now the case is being investigated by the concerned department by issuing notice against the woman.
The woman’s neighbor Nirmala said that she has gone with the money of the housing scheme. He is not having any idea. Even before this, when the woman’s lover used to come home, the family protested. Police also came. But both of them did not stop meeting.
Another villager Sandeep told that we have come to know that the woman already had a love affair. When the money of PM housing came, the woman escaped with that money. Since, her love affair was going on, so there is a possibility that she has run away with her lover.
On the other hand, in this whole case, BDO Brijesh Singh said that a case of running away with the lover after a woman received the money of the house has come up. A notice is being issued against the woman and investigation is being done, further action will be taken on the basis of whatever will be revealed in the investigation.
