Appeal to all countries to exercise restraint

IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Gersi, in his introductory statement to the Board of Governors, expressed concern over the ongoing struggle related to the attack on Iranian nuclear bases. He said, ‘We are meeting today amid a serious struggle, including three IAEA member countries, during which Iran’s atomic bases are being attacked.

He also said that peace is very important in Iran, Israel and the entire Middle East region.
