Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt has praised actress Yami Gautam fiercely after watching the recent film ‘Haq’. Alia not only gave her opinion by calling Yami, but also praised her openly on social media.
Alia shared a note on her Instagram story and described herself as Yami’s fan.
The actress wrote, “Queen Yami Gautam, you are amazing in ‘Haq’. The authenticity, heart and class is evident in your acting. This is one of my favorite female performances till date. As I said on the phone too, I am your fan and eagerly await your upcoming work.”
Yami Gautam also gave her reaction on this post of Alia. While re-sharing Alia’s story, he wrote that it is very special to receive such praise from such a wonderful actress and a good person. Yami said that she always respects Alia’s work and her professional attitude. He described the conversation between the two as heartfelt and true.
After this reaction of Alia, she joined those celebs who have praised the film ‘Haq’ and Yami’s acting. Earlier, Kiara Advani and Sanjay Kapoor have also praised the film.
The film is directed by Suparn S. Verma has done it. Whereas, it has been written by Reshu Nath.
The film Haq is based on the Shah Bano case of 1985, which was an important decision related to women’s rights. The film was released in theaters on 7 November 2025. In this, Yami played the character of Shazia Bano.
Whereas, Emraan Hashmi was in the role of a lawyer in the film. The film also stars Sheeba Chaddha, Danish Hussain and Aseem Hattangadi.
