India won the World Championship of Legends by defeating Pakistan last season.
Pakistan has reached the finals in the retired cricketers’ tournament World Championship of Legends (WCL). WCL gave this information late on Wednesday night. India refused to play semi -finals with Pakistan. The match was to be played in Birmingham on 31 July.
Earlier, Indian players did not even play a group match to be held on July 20 with Pakistan. Then the match was canceled and marks were distributed among the two teams. But now the Pakistani team has reached the final due to being at the top in their group and scoring nine points with four wins.
At the same time, India stood at number four in this tournament with six teams. The team won one match and lost three, while one match was inconclusive. Pakistan will compete with the winner of the second semi -final (Australia or South Africa).

We respect the decision of India Champions to withdraw from the semi -finals and also respect the preparations for Pakistan Champions to compete. Keeping all the things in mind, the match between India Champions and Pakistan Champions has been canceled. Pakistan Champions will go to the final.
The sponsor company also announced to withdraw from the semi -finals
The league sponsor company Ezmai Trip also announced to withdraw from the semi -final match on Wednesday. The company’s co-founder Nishant Pitti wrote in the X post- ‘We appreciate India’s great performance in WCL. However, the upcoming semi -final against Pakistan is not a simple match. Terrorism and cricket cannot run simultaneously.
‘Ezmai Trip stands with India. We cannot support any event that tries to normalize relations with the country that promotes terrorism. Some things are bigger than sports. Country first, business later. ‘
