Downtime tracking website dowdatector AccordingUsers filed more than 8,400 reports about Airtel service not working properly. Of the reports, 65 percent complained of lack of signals, while 15 percent reported the problem related to internet service. Other 20 percent told about other problems related to the network in their mobile phones.
It was told that the outage started around IST at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, after which more than 1,400 complaints were filed. The outage was the highest around 9:05 pm, when more than 8,400 reports were filed. The problem was completely cured by 1:05 am on Wednesday.
ABP Live report AccordingThis problem was seen in cities such as Chennai, Coimbatore, Dindigul, Thrissur, Hyderabad and Kerala. A separate report by Times Now stated that users in New Delhi also faced outage.
During this time, most users were not able to make phone calls due to non -availability of network signals. According to The Hindu, some users were able to take advantage of mobile data and internet service in the same areas.
On X, a user shared a screenshot of a text message from Airtel that confirmed the problem. It was written in the message that “Yesterday evening, we had to face network outages in some areas of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Our team worked overnight to cure this problem. Our service has been completely cured. We apologize for any problems caused by it and thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.”
Airtel users resorted to X to do their disappointment after the problem. A Kerala user said that “I have a validity pack till 22 June 2025. But I have not been able to call from tomorrow nor mobile data is being used !! what kind of service you guys are providing!”
Another user said that “what is happening with Airtel? The mobile signal is not coming, the call is not being made and even my Airtel Fiber is not working.”
