Air India said on Thursday that flights on 16 international routes will be reduced between June 21 and July 15 and would be suspended on three foreign destinations. That is, no flight will run on these routes. This decision has been taken after the deadly aircraft accident in Ahmedabad on June 12. In this horrific aircraft accident, 241 people aboard the aircraft and about 29 people present at the scene have died. The Tata Group owned airline said that it aims to reduce the inconvenience of passengers at the last minute.

Services will be affected from 21 June to 15 July

The announcement was made at a time when the airline said a day earlier that it would temporarily cut flights operated with large -sized aircraft by 15 percent. The airline said in the statement, “This deduction will be effective from June 21, 2025 and will continue at least till July 15, 2025.” In this, services will be suspended till July 15 on Delhi-Narobi, Amritsar-London (Gatvik) and Goa (Mopa)-London (Gatvik). In addition, flights will be reduced on 16 international routes connecting North America, Europe, Australia and the Far East cities.
