12 killed, more than 20 injured in the blast
So far, 12 people have been confirmed dead in the powerful blast that took place near the Red Fort metro station in Delhi on November 10, while more than 20 people are injured. All the injured have been admitted to Lok Nayak Jaiprakash (LNJP) Hospital for treatment.
PM Modi reached hospital as soon as he returned from Bhutan tour
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today (12 November) reached LNJP Hospital directly from the airport immediately after returning from Bhutan tour. He went there and met the injured and took information from the doctors about their condition.
Amit Shah has already met
Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had reached the hospital shortly after the blast. He inquired about the well being of the injured and instructed the officials not to cause any delay in treatment.
PM Modi said- “Government will provide all possible help”
Prime Minister Modi had said on Monday that he has reviewed the situation with Home Minister Amit Shah and senior officials. He assured that all possible assistance is being provided to the affected people and the investigating agencies are working to find out the conspiracy behind the incident.
