Abu Azmi Gets Anticipatory Bail from Mumbai Sessions Court in Case of Statement on Aurangzeb

Abu azmi news: Maharashtra Samajwadi Party President and MLA Abu Azmi has got a big relief. On Tuesday (March 11), the sessions court of Mumbai granted him anticipatory bail in the case filed for praising Aurangzeb. However, with this, the court has also imposed some conditions on them.

Abu Azmi had filed an anticipatory bail petition in Mumbai’s session court to avoid arrest due to his controversial statement in the past. Actually, SP MLA Abu Azmi had praised Aurangzeb, after which an FIR was lodged against him at many places.

The case was filed
In the premises of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, Abu Azmi gave a controversial statement about Aurangzeb, after which a huge controversy arose over this statement. After his statement, Mumbai and Thane police registered a case under sections 299, 302, 356 (1), 356 (2) of BNSIPC.

Court imposed these conditions
The sessions court of Mumbai session gave Abu Azmi anticipatory bail and asked to give a solvent security bond of 20 thousand rupees. Also, he was ordered to appear before the investigating officer between 12, 13 and 15 March between 11 am and 1 pm. Along with this, the court also directed him not to tamper with the evidence of the case.

There was a ruckus due to the statement
Please tell that SP leader Abu Azmi had praised the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb in the past, after which there was a lot of ruckus. Abu Azmi had said, “Aurangzeb was the reality of justice. India became a golden bird during his tenure. I do not consider Aurangzeb as a cruel ruler. In Aurangzeb’s time, there was a battle of rule, not a fight, not a Hindu-Muslim fight. Aurangzeb built many Hindu temples during his tenure. Aurangzeb is shown wrong history.” However, later Abu Azmi, while presenting a clarification on his statement, said that his words were distorted.
