Patel told Aamir- I received the Arjuna Award for wrestling in the year 2000. I was returning to Indore from Delhi with the award. Some people were sitting in front of me in the AC coach of the Nizamuddin Express train. Looking at my photo in it, he said, look at the wrestler of your Indore has received the Arjuna Award. But they could not recognize me.
After some time Nagda came to Nagda railway station before Ujjain. 200 people brought drums and flowers and garlands to the station to welcome me there. They were shouting slogans, Kripa Shankar Patel Zindabad. Hearing this, I came to the coach’s gate. But even the welcoming could not recognize me.
After a long time a wrestler recognized me. And after that I lifted me on the shoulder. Seeing this, the people in the coach with me were also surprised that they came with us all the way but we could not recognize them. Hearing this, Aamir started laughing loudly.
The wrestlers invited Aamir to get into the ongoing wrestling in Mumbai. This competition is organized by the Railways.
