Google gemini: Google has launched a new advanced feature ‘Deep Think’ in its Gemini AI app which is currently available for Ultra subscribers. This feature is based on the AI model that gave bronze-level performance in the first International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) where the world’s most complex mathematical questions are solved.
AI, who thinks fast, will now work in many layers
Google says that earlier it took hours for this AI to solve the questions, now it has been optimized for the Gemini app so that it can work in a fast and effective way. Deep Think now responds rapidly with multi-step logic and deep thinking ability that can prove to be extremely useful for programmers, researchers and content creators.
What is Parallel Thinking Technology?
Deep Think is used in a technique called parallel thinking in which AI considers many possibilities at the same time. This not only makes it think with new angles but also shows more flexibility and depth in solving coding, scientific analysis and complex problems.
How to use Deep Think?
It is very easy to use this new feature.
- Open Gemini app on your mobile
- Select 2.5 Pro model
- Go to Settings and turn on Deep Think
Google has informed that it will be initially Daily Usage Limited but soon it will also be made available for developers and educational institutions through Gemini API.

Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai confirmed the launch of this feature on X (East Twitter). He said that this version of Deep Think has performed to get a gold medal at the IMO level in internal tests. He described it as the best for complex time complexity analysis and scientific thinking and in a funny manner called it a “Fantastic Friday night” partner for AI lovers.
Now more secure and reliable
According to Google, the new model is equipped with more safety filters and objective thinking than older verses. However, sometimes it also avoids answering some common questions due to more vigilance. This feature has gone ahead with Gemini 2.5 demo introduced in Google I/O 2025. The launch of Deep Think shows that Google now wants to make Olympiad level thinking not only for AI experts but also for common users.
