Amarnath Yatra is starting in Jammu and Kashmir from July 3. This journey lasting 38 days will pass through both Pahalgam and Baltal routes. After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, about 80 thousand personnel of the Indian Army, CRPF, BSF, SSB, CISF, ITBP and Jammu and Kashmir Police have been deployed under the protection of Amarnath pilgrims. These soldiers will guarantee passengers to protect them. Security forces have prepared infallible circles to prevent attacks such as fideline attacks. The same security arrangements have been made to ensure that no terrorist could come on the route of the yatra, as it was seen to protect the US/NATO army convoys in Afghanistan.

According to sources associated with the intelligence unit, Dashatgardas of Pakistan have a bad eye on the route of Amarnath Yatra. Reason, according to him, about ’50’ Pakistani terrorists are hidden in Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, about two dozen local terrorists of the ‘masks’ groups present in Jammu and Kashmir of Pakistan-backed terrorist organizations are also active. Keeping this input in mind, the Indian Army, paramilitary forces and the Jammu and Kashmir Police have prepared a fullproof plan to protect the journey route. The travel route is made completely safe. Strong security arrangements have been made for the safety of passengers around mountains, river-streams, roads and bridges.
The impenetrable circle of security has been prepared on both Pahalgam and Baltal. CCTV and drone are being monitored at sensitive places. The passengers’ convoys will be taken under the security cordon of CRPF. Both routes have the road opening party ‘ROP’ of various security forces. Dog Squad and Bulletproof Marxman have also been deployed. In many places, binoculars have been imprisoned to imprisoning long distance activities. Handheld CCTV cameras have also been provided to the security forces. According to a senior official, passengers do not need to worry at all. Their safety has been strongly arranged. This time, a special safety cycle has been provided to the convoys of vehicles on the journey route.
The way the convoys of US/NATO armies used to get security in Afghanistan, the same will remain during the Amarnath Yatra. When the convoy of Amarnath Yatra leaves, the approach routes will be closed on the way. Local traffic will be allowed to run on that road only after the convoy passes. Some places have also been identified, where the part of the opposite route on the main road can be closed for normal traffic.
After the Pahalgam attack, special arrangements have been made to prevent such attacks on the route of Amarnath Yatra, ‘small missile’ and ‘drone’. More than 50000 CAPF personnel are being deployed to protect the journey route. To prevent suicide attack, central security forces have been given special training. The deployment of CAPF personnel on the route of the journey has been reduced. Now there will be regular deployment of soldiers between five hundred meters to one thousand meters. In many places this gap can be even less.
