He has written that the purpose of his rebirth is to pursue his work. Therefore, the new Dalai Lama will be born in an independent world, so that it can lead the Tibetan Buddhism and symbolize the aspirations of the Tibetan people.

The spokesperson said that Buddha’s lineage developed in Tibet, China. Accordingly, the selection of his successor will also be according to the Chinese law and traditions. He claimed that in the year 1793, the King Dynasty started the Golden Arn process. Under it, China itself has the right to approve the Dalai Lama’s successor.
Dalai Lama said- this process is not in use However, the Tibetan community and the Dalai Lama rejected China’s claim. He said that the Golden Arn process was used only for the 11th and 12th Dalai Lama. It was not used in the selection of 9th, 13th, and 14th Dalai Lama.
