Aamir Khan has recently talked about casting in Thugs of Hindustan after Fatima’s riot. Aamir has told that many actresses like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone refused to do the film, after which Fatima was signed in the film. Aamir wanted to do a romantic role with him, but the film’s makers refused to do so. He believed that Aamir has played Fatima’s father in Dangal, if both of them now do romantic roles, the audience will reject.
Aamir said on Fatima’s casting in an interview to Lallantop, ‘When we were casting, an actress did not say yes to the film. Deepika did not say, Alia did not say, Shraddha did not speak. That film was offered to the entire industry, but that role was not being locked at all. Victor and Aadi (Aditya Chopra, producer of the film) said that Fatima’s test is very good, but we will not keep her romance with you. Because it (in Dangal) has become your daughter, how can your girlfriend become in it. The audience will reject this thing.
The film Thugs of Hindostan was released in the year 2018.
Aamir further said, ‘I do not believe all these things. I am actually a little his father nor is I really his boyfriend. We are making films. Like Bachchan (Amitabh Bachchan) has played Rakhi’s lover and son, he has done with Waheeda ji. This is many times when an actor works with another actor, sometimes a son, sometimes a brother, sometimes a husband. The audience is so stupid that this is the father. We underestimate the audience. I do not believe that Shah Rukh and an actress have a romantic role, so they cannot play the role of parents anymore, or no other relationship can be of him.
Fatima and Aamir’s affair had rumors
