Motorola Shares Android 16 Eligible Devices Razr Foldables Edge G Series Smartphones Included Full List

Google released Android 16 this year in June itself, which is much early compared to the rest of the years. This means that Motorola users will not have to wait much this time to get updates. Motorola may be slightly slow in terms of software updates, the company has now shared an official list of eligible devices for Android 16.

If you have Razr, Edge or any new Moto G device, then there is good news for you. Motorola has also started Android 16 beta testing, but right now it is only for selected countries and devices. Currently, public beta is not completely rolled out, as is doing brands such as Samsung or OnePlus.

As far as the release date is concerned, Motorola has not announced any official date so far and it is also a little less expected. But if we look at the previous rollouts, Android 16 updates can start coming on Motorola devices around September or October.

The phones that Motorola has currently confirmed to give Android 16 is like this:

• Motorola Razr Series – RAZR 2025, RAZR+ 2025, RAZR Ultra 2025, RAZR+ 2024, RAZR 60 And RAZR 50 The models with the series are included.
• Motorola Edge Series – Edge 60, Edge 60 ProThere are devices like Edge 50 Pro, Edge 50 Fusion, Edge 50 Neo, Edge 40 Pro.
• Moto G series – models like Moto G86, G85, G75, G55, G Stylus 2025 and Power 2025 will get updates.
• Thinkphone 25 by Motorola will also get Android 16.

However, many models are still not included in this list – such as Razr 2024 and First Generation ThinkPhone. It is expected that Motorola will further update its list in the coming weeks.
