US President Donald Trump on Tuesday lashed out at Tesla’s CEO Ellon Musk. He said- If the subsidy to Musk is stopped, then he will have to close his shop (company) and return to South Africa.
Trump said that neither Tesla will be able to produce electric cars, nor will SpaceX rockets, satellites be launched due to the closure of subsidy.
Trump claimed that Musk had received as much money as a government subsidy, as much as no one else got. He suggested that DOGE should check the details of the case. This will save the country’s money.
The US President said- Musk was well known that I was against EV Mandate long before I supported me for the presidency. Electric vehicles are good, but it is wrong to force every human to buy them.
Trump gave Musk the responsibility of DOGE department to cut government spending on winning the presidential election.
Musk got government assistance of ₹ 31 lakh crore in 20 years
- The US Energy Department gave a loan of $ 465 million to Tesla. This helped Tesla to launch the model-s car.
- Nevada gave a tax exemption of Rs 11 thousand crore for Tesla’s Giga factory in 2014.
- Tesla buyers get a tax credit of $ 7,500 on every electric vehicle.
- SpaceX has received government contracts worth Rs 16 lakh crore from 2008.
- Out of these, contracts worth Rs 12 lakh crore were met by NASA and contract Pentagon worth Rs 4.50 lakh crore.
- In 2021, SpaceX received a contract of Rs 25 thousand crore for the Moon Mission under NASA’s Artemis program.
- In 2024, SpaceX received a contract of $ 843 million to de-arbit the International Space Station.
- SpaceX received contracts of 16 to 32 thousand crore rupees every year between 2015 and every year between Rs 8 thousand crore and 2021-2024.
Musk described Trump’s bill as madness

American Senate approves Discussion on Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill
The US Senate has approved President Donald Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill for discussion. In the voting held late on Saturday night, the Senate passed a resolution by a margin of 51-49 votes, allowing the House to start a debate on the bill.
Two Republican Senators voted against the proposal. US Vice President JD Vance was present during the voting as he could need to vote in the event of a tie. Trump tax and spending cuts want to pass this bill before 4 July.
Musk and Trump clashed over the Big Beautiful Bill
