The Chinese Foreign Ministry on Monday expressed his desire to negotiate with India on border determination. China said that the border dispute with India is complex and it will take time to resolve.

China’s Foreign Ministry said- China and India have developed a system of special representative talks for border disputes. There is a diplomatic and military communication system on different labels between the two countries.

The ministry further stated that China is ready to maintain dialogue with India on issues like border determination and maintain peace and stability in the border areas. We want to promote cross border cooperation.

After the 2020 dalwan clash between India and China, there was tension on the border for a long time. During this time, soldiers of both countries came face to face.

China said- Hopefully India will continue to work together

China’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning was asked that a special representative talks have been held between the two countries 23 times, but there is still a border dispute.

Mao Ning said on this- the border dispute is complex and it will take time to resolve it. The good thing is that both countries have developed many systems for dialogue. We hope that India will also work with China and maintain peace in the border areas.

India National Security Advisor Ajit Doval held a 23rd round of special representatives with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi on a visit to Beijing in December last year. The meeting confirmed the implementation of the October 2024 agreement, under which patrolling and grazing in the border area was allowed.

Rajnath Singh recently visited China

India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh recently met Chinese Defense Minister Dong Jun during a meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Kingdao on 26 June. During this, Rajnath Singh suggested that India and China should solve complex border issues under a systematic roadmap.

It talked about reducing tension on the border and extending the existing system of border determination. The main focus of this dialogue was on maintaining peace and stability on LAC.

Rajnath also raised the issue of Pakistan -backed terrorism

Rajnath Singh stated the need to work between the two countries for a good neighbor relationship and work for stability in Asia. He also praised the resumption of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

Along with this, he also informed the Defense Minister of China about the recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir and India’s action in Pakistan. Rajnath Singh said that Operation Sindoor is a stand of India on the issue of terrorism.

Earlier on Thursday, there was a meeting of the Defense Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Sangathan (SCO). India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Pakistan Defense Minister Khwaja Asif attended both. However, Rajnath Singh did not meet the Pakistani Defense Minister.
