Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan), farmers get Rs 6,000 every year in three installments. This amount is sent directly to the bank account of the farmers. But many times farmers complain that their next installment is not coming at time, or has been stuck for the last several months. In such a situation, farmers live in confusion as to what to do now, where to go and how to find out why the money did not come. If the installment of your PM Kisan Yojana is stuck, then there is no need to panic, by taking some easy steps, you can turn it again.

This is how you can take money for stuck installment

First of all, you should check whether the linking of the bank account from your Aadhaar number is done properly. The amount of the scheme comes to the bank account link with Aadhaar. If the bank account is not linked to Aadhaar or there is any mistake in it, then the installment may be stuck. For this, go to your bank and check the status of KYC and Aadhaar linking. The second big reason is EKYC being incomplete. The central government has made EKYC mandatory. That is, if the farmer has not done his EKYC, then his installment is stopped. You can EKYC via OTP by visiting the nearest CSC Center (Public Service Center) or by going to PM-Kisan website yourself.

Apart from this, also check whether there is any disturbance in the record of your land and entry of name. Many times the name in the bank is something else and in such a situation, payment can be stopped in the record of land. For this, you have to contact your Tehsil office or Agriculture Department. If everything is correct, yet the installment has not come, then you can call the PM-Kisan helpline number 155261 or 1800115526. You can also send your complaint to PMkisan-ict@gov.in via email. Apart from this, by going to “Beneficiary Status” on the website, you can check your Aadhaar number or mobile number and check why the installment has stopped and what is the reason.
