International Yoga Day CM Yogi Adityanath Participated in Mass Yoga Practice in Gorakhpur Ann

International Yoga Day: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that yoga is a unique gift of Indian Manisha. By making yoga the medium of public welfare, India paved the way for world welfare. This is the reason that today on the 11th International Yoga Day, not only India but about 190 countries of the world are getting proud by joining the legacy of Indian yoga.

CM Yogi was addressing yoga practitioners and trainees before performing yoga at Gorakhnath Temple on the 11th International Yoga Day on Saturday morning. The Chief Minister congratulated the people of International Yoga Day. In a program organized in Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Auditorium, he said that yoga is such a mantra of the sage tradition of India which provides healthy brain along with a healthy body. Indian Manisha has informed the importance of yoga in a detailed manner since ancient times, saying, ‘Bodymadya Khalu Dharma means’. (The body is the means of following religion).

CM Yogi said that the attainment of all the four efforts of human life, meaning, salvation is possible only from a healthy body. A healthy body is the medium of worldly flourishing and spiritual upgradation. Be it public welfare, fulfillment of desires or the path of liberation, healthy body is the medium for all these. He said that for making a means of rearing religion and keeping the body healthy for the attainment of all four efforts, yoga is done. Bharti made this yoga a medium of public welfare and then through it also paved the way for world welfare.

The Chief Minister said that today different dimensions of yoga are seen. Indian Manisha informed the world about the high dimension of consciousness through yoga. From personality development to reveal the mysteries of the universe, the rich knowledge of yoga was presented in the Vedas, Upanishads, Puranas, Smriti and Shastras as a legacy.

CM Yogi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is credited with the ancient Indian tradition of yoga to move forward in the modern era. In a period, when outsiders were starting to patent yoga asanas and India was being deprived of its heritage, then Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the initiative in the United Nations to give yoga global recognition. With the efforts of PM Modi, it started to celebrate International Yoga Day from 21 June 2015. Today, not only India, 190 countries of the world are associated with Yoga Day. International Yoga Day is an attempt to gratitude to the sage tradition of India and to connect the coming generation with heritage.

The disease stays away from the yogic body

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that it is possible to get rid of diseases from yoga. It has also been said, ‘Neither tasya diseases nor death: Received yogagrimayam bodamam’. The CM expressed confidence for himself, describing the opportunity to join the program of yoga on the holy land of Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath on International Yoga Day, and expressed confidence that the enthusiasm of yoga will pave the way for public welfare, social welfare and nation welfare through a healthy body and brain.

On the 11th International Yoga Day, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath saw and heard the live address of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the program organized at Digvijaynath Smriti Auditorium of Gorakhnath Temple. After this, he practiced various rugs, pranayama, meditation with yoga practitioners and trainees present in the auditorium.
