BSNL has launched its Q-5G i.e. Quantum 5G service in Hyderabad, increasing the tension of private companies. Apart from this, the government company is soon to launch the BSNL Q-5G service in Bengaluru, Visakhapatnam, Pune, Chandigarh and Gwalior. The company’s plans start from Rs 999, in which users will get 100MBPS superfast internet speed. At the same time, the company has also announced a plan of Rs 1,499, in which users will get internet at a speed of 300Mbps. The special feature of BSNL’s 5G service is that for this, users will neither have to buy any SIM card nor will it need to be installed.
What is BSNL Q-5G FWA?
BSNL has launched its quantum 5G service, especially for those Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, where the presence of optical fibers is very limited. People living in these cities, 5G service will be delivered to business and offices, so that they can get internet facility at good speed. This Q-5G service of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is completely dependent on technology made in India. The company will provide superfast connectivity to users through Equipments made in India. Users will get 5G service through FWA i.e. Fixed Wireless Access.
How will 5G internet run without sim and wire?
Users will not get calling facility in BSNL’s Q-5G service. They will be able to access only high speed internet data. In this, like Airtel Xstream Fiber and Jio Airfiber, users will get 5G internet access without SIM and wire. For this, the telecom company will put CPE (Customer Premies Equipment) on the roof of the user, which will be caught by the 5G signal of BSNL and will work to deliver 5G internet to the router in the user’s house. In this way, the user will get superfast internet connectivity without SIM card or optical fiber or wire.
Will the tension of private companies increase?
BSNL has increased the tension of private companies by launching its 5G service. Government telecom company will work to deliver 5G internet to users at affordable rates, which will create a new competition for private companies. Apart from this, the government company uses the Equipments made in India completely in its 5G service, due to which there will be no threat to national security.
