Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday offered that he could mediate in the ongoing war between Iran and Israel. Putin said that Moscow can make an agreement that Iran will be able to conduct its nuclear program peacefully and will also solve Israel’s security concerns. Talking to the media in a program, Putin said that ‘this is a sensitive issue, but I think it can be resolved.’

Russia sent an arbitration proposal to Iran-Israel
The Russian President also said that he has also sent his proposal to Iran, Israel and America. He said that ‘We are not imposing anything on anyone. We just want to talk about what a way can be in this situation. Any decision has to be taken by the leadership of these countries. Russia has good relations with West Asian countries, making it a good and impressive intermediary in terms of Iran-Israel. Putin also spoke to US President Donald Trump last week, in which Putin offered to establish peace in West Asia. However, Trump had first advised him to focus on the ceasefire in the Russia-Ukraine war.
On the sidelines of the International Economic Forum held in St. Pitsburg, Putin said that Russia had good relations with Iran and Russia also helped in setting up the first nuclear power plant in Bushehar, Iran. 200 Russian employees are helping Iran to build two other nuclear plants in Bushehar.

US President Trump appreciated
Putin praised US President Trump and also supported his promise of making peace in Ukraine. Putin also admitted that if Trump had been in power in 2022, there would not have been a war between Russia and Ukraine. Putin said that he is ready to talk to Ukraine for the ceasefire, but he questioned the legacy of Ukrainian President Jailonsci, whose term has been completed last year.
