In fact, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has announced today that it is going to offer an annual pass of fastag for easy travel on the National Highway. Announcing on X, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that an important step is being taken for the trouble free National Highway Yatra, in which the fastag priced of Rs 3,000 is presenting an annual pass which will be effective from August 15, 2025. The new Fastag pass will be applicable to non-commercial private vehicles such as car, jeep and van.
The price of Fastag pass for 1 year will be Rs 3,000, with the date of activation to one year or up to 200 visits (whichever is first) will be valid.

This new system of Fastag Annual Pass will help users to make toll payments easier from the same transaction for the whole year. This policy will also remove the problems of the long -standing people on repaying the toll repeatedly during a short distance journey. The purpose of this pass is to reduce toll complaints, especially for passengers living near the toll plaza located within a radius of 60 km.

How to get Fastag Pass?

Fastag Pass can be purchased from the official website of highway travel mobile app, National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH). A separate link for activation and renewal will be activated before launch.
