The US has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in India and said that it stands with India in this sad hour. US State Ministry spokesman Tami Bruce said, “As President Trump and Foreign Minister Rubio have already clarified, the US is with India and strongly condemns every act of terrorism.”
He said, ‘We pray for those who lost their lives in this attack, wish the injured to recover as soon as possible and want the culprits of this heinous attack to be brought into the dock of justice.’

When a clear comment was sought by the US on the role of Pakistan in the attack, the spokesperson said that the US is closely watching the situation. Tammy Bruce said, “This is a fast changing situation and we are seeing it very closely.”
